Violet Pertierra is an immigration paralegal with more than 25 years of experience in the legal field. She graduated from the University of Havana and began practicing law in Cuba as a licensed attorney in 1992. Since immigrating to the United States in 2002, she has worked closely with attorneys in all areas of immigration law, including immigrant visa petitions, applications for adjustment of status, consular processing, waivers of grounds of inadmissibility, naturalization, and removal defense.
